Steve Stafstrom is Vice President of Operations for Global Tools & Storage and Global Emerging Markets (GEM). He came to the Stanley Black & Decker organisation in 1998 and has held successive roles of operational leadership. Steve oversees a supply chain that provides services to customers in 150 countries. The Stanley Black & Decker GTS network consists of 48 factory sites and 30 major distribution points.

Steve has a proven track record of building high-performance teams that deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. Operations teams under Steve’s leadership consistently deliver industry best quality, productivity and working capital efficiency.

Steve is one of the original thought leaders for the Stanley Fulfillment System. He now chairs Core SFS 2.0 initiatives for the company. Prior to joining Stanley Black and Decker, Steve was employed by Allied Signal Aerospace and Fafnir Textron in progressive manufacturing and supply chain.

Steve holds a BSEE from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in liberal arts from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
