Sandra MacQuillan joined Kimberly-Clark in the newly created position of Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer. She has global responsibilities for procurement, transportation, continuous improvement, sustainability, quality, safety and regulatory operations to increase effectiveness and deliver a world class supply chain.
She also leads the company’s Global Supply Chain Council and is a member of the global senior leadership team.
MacQuillan joined Kimberly-Clark from Mars Incorporated, where she most recently served as Global Vice President, Supply Chain responsible for manufacturing, engineering and logistics for Global Petcare, a $15 billion business. She has extensive experience in procurement, technology and engineering, and has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Russia, Dubai and Europe.
She received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with honors from the University of Greenwich, U.K. in 1989 and was awarded Chartered/Engineer status from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London, 1993. Sandra has been a Royal Society of Arts Fellow since the late 1990’s and an Institute of Mechanical Engineers Fellow since 2011.
She and her husband, Tom, have one son, Jack.
