Michael Edmunds is Vice President of Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain (MGSC) at Bose. His functional areas of responsibility include manufacturing, global supply planning and distribution, global supply management, strategic alliance and global quality. Michael joined Bose in 2006 as Director of manufacturing for Automotive Systems.
Prior to joining Bose, Michael worked in the nuclear energy, commercial lighting, automotive and heavy-duty industrial business sectors. He joined the company from Federal Mogul Corporation where he was plant manager and lead product manager for the sealing systems division. He has more than 25 years global experience in a wide range of disciplines including procurement, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, quality, operations management and lean enterprise.
Following his initial assignment with Bose, Michael joined MGSC as director of manufacturing business alignment, responsible for global strategic and operational initiatives. His role expanded to include leadership of the corporate quality organisation. In 2011, Michael assumed additional leadership responsibilities for the Global Supply Management organisation.
Michael has a BSc in industrial engineering from Clemson University and a masters in business administration from Indiana University.
